The Community Volunteer Centre aims to strengthen communities through volunteering in the North Auckland area. We provide a referral service for individuals who wish to volunteer and a recruitment service for community organisations, groups and businesses who wish to recruit volunteers to assist their organisations work. We also provide general information, advice, support, training and networking opportunities to help individuals and organisations to engage and enhance their services through volunteering. Whether you have a few hours a week or a few days a month to spare, we can help you to find volunteer work in your local community.
Global Food & Friends is a friendship group for newcomers, migrants, refugees and Kiwis. You can learn about Kiwi culture, find out how local services can help you to settle in New Zealand, try foods from around the world, meet others, make new friends and have fun.
